The Suppliers Management module in TRAX Store Management System allows store administrators to centralize distributor contacts and trace which retail products originate from which wholesale vendor.
1. Feature Access & Subscription Requirements #
- Navigation Path: From the main sidebar menu, select Suppliers (
/home/suppliers). - Role Permissions: Restricted to Store Administrator (Admin) and Store Manager.
- Subscription Plan: Enabled under the
suppliers_managementfeature key. If locked, upgrade your store plan in the My Subscription tab.
2. The Smart Auto-Scanning Engine #
TRAX POS includes a built-in automated supplier detection engine:
- When you open the Suppliers page or click the Refresh (🔄) button, the system automatically inspects your entire product catalog database.
- It scans all custom product specification fields (
detailFields) searching for vendor keywords (e.g., supplier, merchant, distributor, المورد, التاجر المزود). - If vendor tags exist on any product, TRAX POS automatically creates or updates that supplier’s profile and links the corresponding products without manual data entry.

3. Suppliers Directory Table Overview #
The table provides a clear overview of all registered vendors:

| Supplier Name | Displayed with a blue delivery truck icon (pi pi-truck). |
| Supplier Contact | Direct phone number, email address, or warehouse location. |
| Associated Products | Displays up to 3 linked product chips showing Product Name (Barcode). If more than 3 products are linked, an interactive +X more badge appears. |
| Added Date | Timestamp recording when the supplier was first added or auto-detected. |
| Actions | Quick action buttons: Edit (Pencil) and Delete (Trash). |
4. Real-Time Search & Filtering #
- Live Search Bar: Type into the search field at the top-right toolbar. The list filters instantly across supplier names, contact details, and linked items.
- Manual Refresh: Click the Refresh (🔄) button beside the search bar to trigger a live database re-scan at any time.
